The reappearance of the cube under the cup is extremely unexpected, since they had carefully examined the cup as well. A real double whammy for your audience!
A magical cleaver (a small sword) is inserted into the top of the tube, and then magically pushed down through the crystal casket and through the ring. When the tube is removed, the sword is through the ring inside the casket.
The cylindrical block is centered on one of the plates and placed onto the transparent glass.
The other plate is placed onto the block, sandwiching it between the two plates. The block can be seen clearly through a hole in the upper plate. With both hands the magician grasps opposite sides of the plates firmly and squeezes them together. The block suddenly penetrates the lower plate and falls into the glass.
Everything can be examined by the spectators.
