Effect
The performer brings out the Wonder Pet and says it has been trained to do some unusual tricks. A spectator is asked to select any card and sign it. The deck is cut in the middle, and the signed card is returned to the deck.
The deck is then cut a few more times, and the performer explains that the Wonder Pet has the uncanny ability of locating the signed card with its tiny yet powerful sense of smell. As cards are taken from the deck one at a time and placed in front of the Wonder Pet's face, nothing happens. When the signed card is reached, however, the Wonder Pet begins nodding its head and licking the air, indicating that this is indeed the signed card!

Two kids are invited onstage. Three yellow jelly beans are placed one by one in the yellow bag, which is held by the first kid - then three pink in the pink bag, held by the second kid - and finally three purple in the purple bag, held by you. After some byplay one jellybean is removed from each bag, shown and replaced, to establish which colors are in each bag. Then the magic happens. Now each bag now holds one bean of each color.

Aerial fishing jumps into the 21st Century with this terrific modern update to the classic! Scott Penrose, The Magic Circle Stage Magician of the Year 2000-2002, presents Pocket Aerial fishing!
According to John Booth's book Marvels of Mystery, the original Aerial fishing was invented by Professor Mingus who introduced it during an engagement at Tony Pastor's Theatre in New York City. William Robinson first saw it there and later working in Europe under the name of Chung Ling Soo he caused a sensation with it.
Differing greatly from the original, this version could easily be described as a "pocket-sized" edition of the trick, yet it plays as large as the original. It is ideal for modern performing conditions since it does not involve the large apparatus and inconvenience associated with the original.
The magician walks onto the stage carrying a large goblet of water and places it on his table. He takes a telescopic pointer pen from his pocket, extends it to full length and attaches a piece of string to the end, forming a makeshift fishing rod. A cigarette is borrowed for the "bait" and is broken into three pieces. One of the pieces is fixed to the end of the string. The line is cast forward and a goldfish appears on the end of the bait. The fish is detached and dropped into the goblet of water, where it swims about in lively fashion!
