The performer displays a large (1.75" in diameter) engraved chinese coin to the audience. A length of cord is clearly threaded through the coin, and can even be given a tug, yet the magician makes the coin visibly melt off the cord! The performer then offers to, "put the coin on the string."

He ties a knot at both ends of the cord and amazingly the coin penetrates right on to the cord once again! Now for what makes this routine so special...as cleanly as possible the performer then magically removes the coin from the string, replaces it and removes it once again before handing out everything for complete examination.
