A deck of cards (your own) is spead face up and face down to show a regular deck. The joker is removed and placed onto the table. A spectator is offered a totally free choice from the deck and is asked to sign the face of her card. The spectator now cuts her card into the deck several times to ensure that SHE totally loses her card. The performer now takes the deck and the joker and holding it above the deck, gives it a flick. Instantly and visually, the joker vanishes from the face of the card, leaving only the surrounding detail of the card and the word "Joker" remaining lonesomely on the card!
This incomplete card is tossed out for examination and the performer openly deals down cards from the top of the deck to show that there is no sign of the Joker anywhere. The deck is now spread facedown and one card is seen to have the missing Joker PRINTED on its back! This card is turned over to reveal that it is, impossibly, the SIGNED selection!
The spectator is asked to verify that the Joker is really on the back of their card before the performer takes the selection, flicks it, causing the Joker to vanish off the back of the signed card. The deck is handed out for examination and the signed card as a souvenir!

A deck of cards is shown to be faulty due to there being backs printed on both sides of the cards! A spectator examines one of the cards from the unusable deck and verifies this to be true. However, with a magical gesture, the magician causes all the faces to become printed, making the deck as it should be. He then proceeds to take half the cards face up and half face down and shuffle them together. The deck is spread to show the messy condition of the cards.
With his back turned the magician invites a spectator to remove a card and sign it on the face. This card is then replaced facedown into any point in the deck, which is then squared up before the magician turns back. A magical gesture is made and the cards are shown to have gone back to their original state of being all backs on both sides, all except for one card which remains with it’s face showing among the backs of the cards. Unbelievably, it is the signed selection! The only card not to be printed with a back on both sides again! The spectator keeps the card as a souvenir of this strange experience with a deck of cards!
The trick can be instantly repeated with a different card! Multiple handlings included as well as Tom Lauten’s Tidy Up routine! Can be done in the hands or at a table! The deck is instantly reset!
The performer introduces a packet of Trivial Pursuit cards and places them on the table. He then turns away and need not look at or touch the cards again. The spectator is instructed to cut into the cards and take one out. He looks over the questions on the card and decides on one but tells no one. Following a prelude test dealing with the category of the question that has been chosen, the performer writes something on a piece of paper, folds it up and hands it to the spectator. The spectator is asked to read aloud the question, and then turn the card over and read the answer out. Next he is asked to open the paper and read what the performer wrote. He does so and it is the exact same answer! The performer asks that the cards be handed to a different person. This person is also asked to cut into the cards and take one out. He too chooses a question. This time the performer writes nothing down, he simply announces both the category and the answer to the question the spectator is merely thinking of!
