A simple to perform routine hearkening back to the days of the sideshow that allows you to connect with one audience member.

In the days of the sideshow, performers were celebrities. Some were fabulously wealthy and some were not. Regardless, they all would sell photo cards to make extra money and so people could show their friends the anatomical wonder they saw at the carnival.

Freaks includes five picture postcards of sideshow freaks and aged envelopes that the postcards are kept in. With Freaks, you have to use five audience members. Any one can pass the postcards out randomly to any member of the audience. All of the postcards are in envelopes.

You will be able to connect with one of your audience members and describe the very image they are looking at. It is the image of a fortuneteller.

No marked envelopes, peeks, stooges or confederates. Dead simple and perfect for parlor or stage.

The set includes the five postcards, the envelopes and a full color booklet explaining the working, as well as a background story you can use.

  • High quality, artistic props include five hand stained envelopes and postcards.
  • Easy to perform, allowing you to focus on performance.
  • Full color book with description of working.

this a clever trick , the trick it's self is basically self working ( clever) , story telling and selling a trick can and do make a good trick great

This is the kind of story telling magic I love to perform. The props you get are very nice and the instruction booklet is presented well, but not in the usual manner. I think this is a developing trick, each performance adds something. Because of its simplicity it is a clean trick at the beginning and end. A great trick for the atmospheric storyteller.
